## Xero

Export a trial balance to a local CSV, with a balance check on both monthly movement and year-to-date figures. The exporter requests read-only report access and cannot write to a ledger.

Python, a Xero developer app and consent for the selected organisation.

The fictional CSV evaluation needs no Xero account; a live API trial can use Xero’s Demo Company.

## Claude

Use Aus Accounting MCP for bounded calculations in Claude Code or Claude Desktop, or add accounting workflows to Claude Code with the released skills. The MCP server and skills have separate setup and data boundaries.

A compatible Claude client and a local runtime. The local MCP server cannot be added directly to Claude’s web app.
